Behind the Scenes at Civilian Launch Collaboration in Australia

Chinatown Country Club played home to Bankston’s recent collaboration launch with Civilian in Sydney. The CBD location provided a canvas to unveil the US partnership with Brooklyn-based design studio Civilian to leading industry tastemakers.

This newest collaboration marked Bankston’s first foray beyond its traditional geographic bounds, emphasising a shared design philosophy that transcends hemispheres.

The intimate lunch hosted some of Australia’s most notable editorial publications, including Domain Prestige, The Local Project, Belle, EST Living to Elle, Indesign Sydney and more. Guests were treated to the culinary “inner west experience” of Baba’s Place, weaving the suburban cuisine with a modern twist.

With interior styling by former Vogue Creative Director, Jack Milenkovic and floral artistry of The Stone Willow Studio, the space reflected refined playfulness as evident in the collection.
