Lunacy Sliding Door Pull - Dark Band - 23112

Set within a circular fixture, this sliding door pull is inset with a crescent moon, enabling fingers to snugly grasp its internal concave edge. Named after a streak of craziness, it alludes to the belief that the moon has the power to drive people to lunacy. Perfectly suited to pocket doors, it instantly animates any surface it adorns. Superbly crafted from solid timber species that span the globe, it is offered in three different striped colourways of contrasting natural tones that range in intensity from deep brown paired with blonde or an earthy red shade to more vibrant bands marrying rich aubergine and tangerine. American Walnut

Prized for its rich chocolate brown tones with occasional lighter streaks, American Walnut typically features a straight grain, but it can exhibit curly, wavy, or figured patterns such as burl, crotch, and quilted effects. This timber naturally deepens in tone over time.

Care:
Apply a clear matte finish oil, dabbing gently and wiping dry with a clean cloth.

Caution:
This finish is suited for interior applications.

Red Cedar

Possessing a rich red to reddish-brown colour and natural lustre, Australian Red Cedar is a premium timber with a relatively straight grain that can appear interlocked. A highly prized, sustainably sourced timber, it is reclaimed and upcycled from fallen trees. Highly sought after given its resemblance to Mahogany, its tones often deepens with age.
