Dark Band

Pairing premium rich chocolate-hued bands of American Walnut with lustrous reddish-brown bands of Australian Red Cedar, this bold timber combination makes for striking entry statements to every room and enlivens joinery surfaces with confident expression. Over time, The Streaks timber requires re-application of oil to maintain their original finish. Bankston recommends a clear matt finish oil, which is available from most hardware stores. Apply the oil as per manufacturers’ instructions, dabbing gently and wiping dry with a clean cloth. Only apply oil when needed. 

Unwanted imperfections or spills can be touched up by gently rubbing back with a household scouring pad, followed by cleaning with warm water and a natural soap. Let the timber dry and apply a clear matt finish oil to finish.
