Hemispheres by Bankston + Civilian US Launch Event

Bankston hosted an intimate cocktail reception at Galerie Was in New York to celebrate the official launch into the US market and the release of the latest collaboration, Hemispheres, in partnership with Brooklyn based design studio – Civilian.

Hemispheres pushes the boundaries of conventional hardware transcending functionality to become a form of artistic expression of thoughtful design. This collection highlights the shared passion of Bankston’s Steve and Emily Bradley and Civilian’s Ksenia Kagner and Nicko Elliott for bold design, quality materials, and a spirit of experimentation. This innovative 10-piece collection includes uniquely designed knobs, levers, pulls, and door stops, with interchangeable components that allow for endless customization options.

The reception at Galerie Was welcomed key editorial, interior design professionals and industry tastemakers for an exclusive first look at the collection and toast to the coming together of two distinct creative forces. Guests included prominent figures and editors from renowned publications such as ELLE Décor, Architectural Digest, The Local Project and more.

The evening was filled with a premium selection of wines provided by Gem as guests indulged in an immersive culinary experience crafted by internationally acclaimed food artist, Laila Gohar. Laila is known for intertwining food and visual storytelling with collaborations across fashion, design and luxury sectors to captivate diverse audiences.
