Solina

Influenced by mid-century architecture, Solina is a modern interpretation of the iconic Kaufman and Singleton houses by renowned architect Richard Neutra and draws inspiration from Palm Spring homes in 1950’s/60’s.

Solina at Ettalong Beach meaning “Little Sun” is a waterfront residence that embodies ultra-modern elegance. With striking, playful interiors and generous living areas, this NSW home overlooks the peaceful surrounds of the local marina.

Design Themes and Inspiration

Characterised by clean lines and layered horizontal planes, Solina offers airy spaces that emphasise the use of glass and steel, fostering a strong connection between indoor and outdoor living. The design frames a stunning view of Ettalong Beach, while vibrant elements of yellow doors, chairs, and a staircase, alongside an orange sunken lounge, echo the lively spirit of the 1960s.

Super Collection Feature

When selecting door hardware for the property, the goal was to find pieces that were distinctive, eye-catching, and reflective of the era and architectural style. A high-end appearance that remained cost-effective was essential, leading to the choice of  Super Moon hardware. The Super Moon features on double doors due to its sense of geometry and clean lines. The Smooth Nickel finish complements the other design elements including the anodised aluminium louvres and windows, retro light fittings and brushed nickel tapware.
